“Florida Sets Yet Another Coronavirus Record: 173 Deaths In A Day.”

“A record 173 Floridians died from the virus Thursday, an average of more than one every eight minutes.”

“The 134 new confirmed deaths is the second-largest increase on record, coming five days after the largest one-day jump of 156 last week.”

“COVID-19 has ravaged Florida, with more than 237,000 people testing positive and 2,013 dying from the virus in July alone.”

So what characteristic do all of the reports share? They are all false.

Florida Is A Case Study In Media-Induced COVID-19 Panic

No kidding they are bullcrap. Let’s continue:

All of these scary headlines are based on the number of deaths reported by the state on any given day. This is not the same as the number of deaths that occurred on those days.

The Press knowingly decided to ignore that the deaths occurred in the space of 26 days and just went with the four days in which they were reported which makes for a much sensational and negative number to be used for political ammunition against Governor DeSantis, President Trump and the Republicans.

But I have to place blame of the way this virus crap has been presented by the state: By showing these artificially concentrated numbers, the state opened itself to be chewed by the Media jackals and their Democratic buddies. And the lack of effort on coming down with a media blast of their own calling them as for the fraud they are, lays at the feet of the Florida Executive branch. They are doing full contact MMA and the Go9vernor is responding with patty cake.

Read the rest of the article. It just does not stop with the presentation but includes beauties like:

A report by CBS-12 in West Palm Beach, for example, found that the state has counted as coronavirus deaths:

A 60-year-old man who died from a gunshot wound to the head.

A 90-year-old man who fell and died from complications of a hip fracture.

A 77-year-old woman who died of Parkinson’s disease.

  1. Sounds like what goes on here in Wisconsin. A buddy went for a drive through test facility, found out it was a 2+ hour wait, he left 10 days later received a letter stating he was positive for Covid-19, he never had the test done, but had to miss work for 14 days. a Dr friend took a test kit, removed the swab, replaced the swab without using it and sent it in, got a positive test result. Don’t believe any of the reports.!

    1. Given the reports in the WSJ a couple of weeks ago of a test kit manufacturer somewhere in Texas that was doing the assembly work in a fly-infested dust-filled factory hall, it isn’t at all surprising that an unused test kit would produce a false positive.

  2. If it bleeds, it leads.

Look, seriously, I do not mind that the news is trying to get more eyeballs on screens, but do not tell me they do not realize how badly this misreporting is screwing up millions of people’s lives. They are fully aware of the damage they are doing, and do not care.

That’s what bothers me the most.
