1. They may have something. How about all of the democrats stay home and self-quarantine? They can just watch TV for the rest of the year and keep out of everyone else’s way. Politicians too, of course.

   This is a win-win. We get to have the cities and states to ourselves for at least 4 months, and they can fantasize about us all getting wuhan flu and dropping dead.

   I think we should pitch this idea and see if anyone swings at it.

2. That was my thought yesterday.

   We flattened the curve. The whole flatten the curve thing was keeping the numbers of sick below max hospital capacity. Miami is at 90% but still managing.

   “Not one more new case” was never part of the original deal. The Democrats have move the goalposts off the field, out of the stadium, and are dragging it down the highway off ramp.

   I keep hearing about a “V shaped recovery” which is good news, and that is followed by more demands for a second shutdown.

   The Left wants to kill the economy to blame Trump for it. It’s insane.

3. At least they are talking about deaths, and not new positive tests.

   In my city, it is all panicking because XYZ new cases were identified yesterday. Curiously though, almost none of those new cases are actually sick, they just have the active virus. Odds of them requiring hospital care, close to 0.16%. Yeah, if a thousand new cases are discovered today, maybe one person will get hospitalized.

   Yet, our petty tyrant dictator of a Mayor has imposed a mask mandate.

   Curiously, when he did impose that mandate, it was to take effect almost 72 hours later. If this virus is so horrific, why wait?

   1. They’re doing the same BS in PA, with school aged kids no less. The segment of the population literally more likely to die of a lightning strike. They’ve set the bar for ‘beating’ this so high that it’s impossible to fulfill.
