ST. PETERSBURG — U.S. Rep. David Jolly said he’s always considered his congressional district to be all of Pinellas County. But it’s southern Pinellas — particularly St. Petersburg’s predominantly black, heavily Democratic neighborhoods — that will likely determine the incumbent Republican’s political fate…
Jolly also says he’s open to considering stronger measures on semiautomatic rifles, including an idea to require anyone who purchases one to keep it locked up outside the home in a gun locker. Those who wish to buy those high-powered rifles should also be subject to intense background checks, investigations and lengthy waiting periods, he said.
Pinellas County is screwed. They get to choose between this RINO traitor or the Democrat contender, former RINO-then-Independent-then-Democrat former governor Charlie Crist.
I think the Florida GOP needs a reminder this November that discarding the Constitution in order to pander to certain political minorities, comes with consequences.

Locked up OUTSIDE the home? Like in a storage facility or woukd a shed in my yard be enough? Why not a safe in my garage then? Or one in my bedroom? Why outside my home unless he wants it to be more likely that my guns will be stolen? What a dumb ass.
He wants it to be more likely for your guns to be stolen. Remember: to the kind of people who fight against gun rights, self-defense is anathema.
I was going to say, “He wants it to be more likely that guns will be stolen. Then he can go after gun owners for the ‘crime’ of not properly securing their guns.”
I like yours, too. 🙂
Semi-automatic High-power 223 bullets… Not those wimpy single-shot 50 cal bullets…
You can always tell a non shooter, like the “grocery store scope assault weapon” woman on TV. …
Why are gun grabbers the most ignorant of all who inhabit the Earth? They literally know NOTHING about the firearms they propose to restrict, limit, register, ban, tax, confiscate, and regulate.
They need to be shown which end of the firearm the bullets come out of for them to understand and to finally stop trying to violate the Constitution.
