Prohibited Places for Weapons and Firearms: Revising the locations where a concealed weapons or concealed firearms licensee is prohibited from openly carrying a handgun or carrying a concealed weapon or firearm, etc.
Never a moment where they are not trying to add one more restriction.
One of the things I hate, is transferring my fire arm from a holster to a locked container in the car. I feel like I’m raising my hand and waving “Hey look, gun for you to steal.”
(And this doesn’t count the cost of a good safe for the car and the fact that said good safe now takes up the place where my tissue box use to be.)
Every one of these “restricted” locations is designed to make you think twice about carrying your firearm when you leave your home.
Them: Sure, the SC says you can carry your gun to defend yourself, so you can carry until you get to the property line of the X. You can’t take it into the parking lot, you can’t take it into the building. So park on the street, so sorry, no parking there, so park a half mile away, lock your firearm up, walk through that part of the city where you really really should be armed, so you can ….
