There is a bunch of them that were withdrawn and relate to funding or mental health stuff that I won’t deal ’cause it s Sanskrit to me.
Here is a list of what did not make it. Most of the failed ones were sort of grammar/clarification type. You can always go straight to the bill and check them out.
-Universal Background Checks. F
-16 hours of training for CWP. W
-Universal Background Checks part 2. W
-Banning Hollow Points. W (There is another similar amendment still in place)
-Large-capacity magazine. W (There is another similar amendment still in place)
-Manufacturing of weapons by citizens. W
-Risk protection Order, “Allege” that the respondent poses a significant danger. W
-Risk protection Order, “Allege” that the respondent poses a significant danger (part 2). W
– Tax on firearms and ammunition. W
There is still a bunch of amendments untouched. They may never be discussed or maybe they will. I just do not know.
I do need a break. All this legislative-speak can drive you insane…er.
UPDATE: The House Republicans apparently got some backbone and the Amendments went down in flames or were withdrawn.
We can breath for tonight. Tomorrow is another day.
Lolz. Flipped on the FL House debating sb7026. At around 6pm, Rep Carlos Smith was convinced his amendment 610235, a 2yr moratorium on ‘large’ cap mags would diminish magazine availability as the ammo is used up (you’ve heard this one before.) I shortly thereafter heard the argument that 2A only covers muskets and militia.
These statist cads have zero idea what they are doing and throwing everything out to see what sticks.
God help us.
This is getting insane.
I to, just want them to stop.
I’m emailing all of them again. Keep the pressure on, let them know they can’t keep stabbing us in the back or they’ll lose their precious political positions.
