The infamous March for Our Lives can no longer claim that it is a movement conceived and created by the young people of Florida High Schools. We believed from the get go, (I mean what kid has not only the credit but the smarts to produce SUVs and Buses to take classmates to Tallahassee?) but more and more we are seeing that is an event tightly controlled by teachers who will not accept dissension or dispersion from the approved Gun Control narrative.
Here is the principal of Fleming Island High School in Clay County, Florida confiscating Gadsden flags that students had brought to counter the heavily Anti Gun activity of March 24 of this year.
But that is not the only school district where teachers were being the controllers of the March for Our Lives. In Marion County, School Superintendent, Dr Heidi Maier has been identified as the one organizing the county-wide March of Our Lives the same date. It is being said that she gave orders to teachers to engage themselves in organizing “events”, to create and distribute polls to be taken by students, what they were supposed to talk about with the students during those “events” and even “convince them” to take the poll since this was supposed to be a student-driven initiative and the students may have been less than enthusiastic about more politics.
One of the questions asked by the teachers during the talks had to do about what the state and federal governments could do to avoid violence in schools, a not so disingenuous way to call for more Gun Control. At least in one school, Belleview High School, the first question had to do with instituting mental health checks as requisite to buy firearms.
We know that for a long time now, Mental Checks to buy firearms has been one of several lusted-after Unicorns of the Gun Control movement. Unfortunately for the Teacher’s Union and Dr. Meier, that question never made it to the top and the winners were both more resources to deal with kids with mental problems and hardening up schools so they stop being soft targets.
Now, the walkouts never happened in Marion County because the schools went into lockdown after a 17-year-old student wounded another in Forest High School that day proving once again that Gun Free Zones did not work.
The result of that poll was supposed to be “sent to various leaders asking for their support.” What leaders or what support are they asking for was not clear. I don’t even trust that they will even send the true results but a very doctored version of what their political masters want. The Poll itself was not locked from outside interference. I made a screen cap of it and I actually took the poll yesterday…. yes, it is still up and running for anybody outside the school to access. Trustworthy, ain’t it?
I want to thank the individual who sent me the information about these political machinations within our Florida schools. We have school personnel who is not happy about the indoctrination of the kids and out of fear of retaliation, they need to go outside their usual means to help stop the indoctrination of the young minds of Florida.
Taking someone’s property without permission, that’s either theft or (depending on circumstances) robbery. Seems like it’s time to file a criminal complaint about what happened.
I took the survey and only checked the “Train staff in self defense and first aid/first responder training”. When I tried to submit it, it comes up with an error that I didn’t answer the question. Took a screen shot. Anyone else have this problem?
I tried. You have to click at least two answers to submit.
