Captured for posterity because it’s too beautiful to let get memory-holed.
It seems that one of disgraced California Congresswoman Katie Hill’s staffers still had the password for Hill’s Twitter account and decided to speak some truth to power.
Holy smokes.
Every word of that is 100% on point. Hill sexually manipulated a staffer and subordinate while engaging in financial malfeasance to cover it up. She resigned before an investigation could occur giving the appearance that she had far worse skeletons in her closet.
She then managed to take this and turn herself into a martyr, a victim of the patriarchy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Had she been an elderly male Congressman, she would have to go live under a rock for the rest of her life.
Instead, she is still a Democrat influencer.
It’s time she was called out by someone from her own side, and to see it done like this is just *chef’s kiss*.
We see this over and over again. A person with a D after their name gets caught, they become a “beautiful and brave” symbol of how “bad guy white” has made them a victim.
D’s all rush to support them, denouncing the pouncing R’s.
Some dog catcher in bumsville AL makes an of color joke and every R in the land is required to denounce them four times before breakfast.
Then there’s this: “It was reported on Tuesday that actress Elisabeth Moss would be starring as the former California representative in a movie adaptation of Hill’s memoir “She Will Rise: Becoming a Warrior in the Battle for True Equality” that was being produced by Blumhouse Television and set for a streaming release. Hill announced on Twitter that she would also be serving as a producer of the film.”
Talk about failing upwards. Making bank off your own sex crime.
Why not? BJ Clinton certainly did.
So did Teddy Kennedy.
And so many others.
WRT Katie being referred to as “LGBTQ+,” my guess is that, for her, the “+” stands for “plus anyone else I can shag.”
