LOL! That, and the fact that their used firearms were set at new firearms prices.
We had one open here a few years ago. About a month after it opened I finally went by to check it out.
Saw a $749 price tag on a Glock 19, turned around, left the store, and never went back.

Gander mountain’s business model was basically just making big outdoor stores in locations that didn’t have other big outdoor stores and then charging a ton without competition.
Now we just use the internet and bypass them.
