Reader Ratus sent me this to share with all of you.
#Brownells Super Barrel IV Puts 14,000 Rounds of #Freedom Up For Grabs! Head to https://t.co/Cb8648dGJP for your chance to win!#ammo #guns #ar15 #ammunition #superbowl pic.twitter.com/jMad8bYyef

If any of you suckers win, I expect at least a couple of hundred rounds for Ratus and I’ll take 90 for 3 mags š
Unfortunately, it seems you have to log in via a social network to enter.
So … nope.
The redirect link looks dodgy as well. The phone number format is odd, and the ‘by electric signature’ in the click this box to continue is also something I would expect to see in a phishing email attack.
I also vote NO.
I used an Apple Hide Your Email to register, then the site wants you to register for other things. Nope, one shot. Iām done.
Hell. If I win you and mr J will get a case..
You can also just go to the Brownells web site and click on the banner to enter the contest.
I probably should have just linked that.
And it complains about blocked cookies, then takes you off to the dodgy link…

Well, I tried that and still got a message that I needed to log in with a social media account.
@it’s just Boris: I didn’t. I did have to give me email, but didn’t need Fuckbook or Twatter or anything.
I have one of those ammunition barrels. Unfortunately it was empty when I got it. My employer at the time performed linking and packaging work for the State Dept. They gave away the empty barrels. I keep dog food and bird seed in it since it is totally rodent proof.
Signed in directly at Brownell’s. Here’s hoping. š
