A man charged in a 2011 sledgehammer attack on a Little Havana grocery store clerk was found guilty Friday.

Rodobaldo Sanchez, 53, was found guilty on charges of attempted first degree murder and armed robbery in the attack on Yue Kui Cen.

Cen suffered brain damage as a result of the attack and can’t speak. He’s wheelchair-bound and severely incapacitated.
Throughout the trial, prosecutors showed DNA evidence of a blood-soaked shirt and cap they said Sanchez was wearing during the attack.
Prosecutors said the whole attack was planned and that Sanchez went to the store to steal cigarettes and milk.

I posted about this case back in 2011 regarding mindset, and even though justice was served, in reality is little consolation for the victim or his family.

I do hope Sanchez gets Life in Prison, Mr. Cen will certainly end his days on a prison possibly more cruel than Raidford.

  1. Liberals / Progressives / Democrats (but I repeat myself) think we should be disarmed so that we cannot defend ourselves from evil SOBs who are capable of doing such atrocities. Every time one of them proposes legislation that would impede my ability to defend myself, they are just as culpable as the criminal they enable.

Only my enemy wants me disarmed.
