I note (with no small amount of irony) that said speech was apparently given to a purely military audience; you know…the kinds of folks that would wind up in Leavenworth should they cry out “YOU LIE!!!” like Rep. Joe Wilson, (R-S.C) did in 2009.
I think the solution to Everytown’s concerns about hidden handguns being carried in cities is quite clear.
Open carry.
It is rather funny that they scream about being intimidated by open carriers, alarmed by the mere possibility of concealed carriers, and terrified of people with guns in general but they continue to engage in aggressively confrontational tactics with all of the above groups.
