   1. Sorry for replying to myself here, but I just had an after thought:

      What these people are pushing is, in effect, a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy towards those who choose to go armed. To paraphrase ‘the Bard’: “Bigotry, by any other name, would still cut as deep…”

3. Has anybody told them about bullets?

   1. Yes. They know. That is why their play-book says to push the line, “Don’t violate the Constitution by banning guns, just ban bullets.” or “Tax bullets out of existence.”

      1. So long as us arms owners are never told about round/minie balls, we’re screwed.

         But of course I was after a rather different point.
