  1. The story goes like this:

RBG dies, and almost immediately the Oval Office Phone rings. President Trump answers, and Hillary Clinton is on the other end.

Hillary: I hear Justice Ginsberg passed away. I would love to take her place.
Trump: It’s OK with me, if it’s OK with the funeral home.

  2. The “party of youth” is desperately propping up two near-corpses to maintain their power.

  3. “minimally invasive” nonsurgical procedure. Is getting your teeth cleaned.

I take that back, it’s a contradiction in terms. Minimally invasive surgery is a real term.

But let’s be honest. We’re all old enough to have lost friends, family or both to cancer. RBG probably has “weeks to months” left. All props to her for saying, “I’m staying on the job until OrangeMan is gone or they carry me out of the office with a sheet over my head” but several treatments for cancer are not a good sign. It’s not a good sign for someone in their 40s, it sure isn’t a good sign for someone in their 80s.

  4. Right at 2 weeks ago if everyone will remember, she had another one of these “minimally invasive nonsurgical procedure(s)” done on her bile duct.

I’m no doctor, but it’s apparent that the cancer has metastasized to her bile duct and the Docs are using the next thing to ‘heroic measures’ – probably on her direct order – to keep her alive, her hope being that Trump fails re-election.

She’s living on sheer willpower now, but even that often isn’t enough when one of the organic systems doesn’t work anymore and the body simply can’t sustain life, no matter how much the mind wants it.
