1. It will be too late for Texas, because from the on-line reaction to lifting the mask mandate, everyone here will surely be dead by evening time next Wednesday.

2. And once it’s “normal” during flu season, it will be extended to prevent the infamous “summer cold” that goes around.

   I’ve seen so many people wearing patterned or color-coordinated masks. I won’t. I wear an unmarked neck gaiter pulled up over my nose, and on those occasions I’m required to wear a mask, it’s a plain hospital-blue one.

   I refuse to acknowledge that masks are normal enough to turn into a fashion.

3. In the leftist ideal world, the only meaningful relationship you are allowed is with the State.

   Removing your facial features, and your ability to transmit emotion is just another step in killing off conventional interpersonal relationships.
