It’s clear why she objected: the anatomy’s all wrong. No rib cage, no pelvis…
My wife and I try different restaurants on Thanksgiving. Last year we went to a Chinese restaurant and I ordered smoked duck. It was a whole duck, smoked, dismembered, and on a white plate with no garnish at all. Just the duck. (It was delicious, by the way.) I told my wife it looked like a suicide bomber on an autopsy table. Fortunately, she shares my sense of humor (up to a point).
