I’m on the hunt for a unicorn.
I want a Smith & Wesson PPK/S in 32 ACP.
In a nutshell, the PPK/S didn’t have enough import points so American companies imported them and finished them domestically.
Interarms and S&W were the companies that did. The Interarms ones are crap.
I have two S&W PPK/S in 380 ACP but I want one in 32 ACP.
They made those in early production but stopped around 1999 or 2000, but kept making 380s.
If you have one you are willing to part with or see one for sale, or know a guy who has one that you owe money to and needs to be knocked over or has a single daughter who will inherent it and is of marrying age, let me know.
I know it’s an odd piece to lust after but the heart wants what it wants.
Take a look at keltec
I want that in 380
I get the attraction of a PPK due to a certain fictional, tuxedo clad spy. However, if you can’t find your unicorn, might I suggest a Sauer 38H. Thousands came back from Europe in G.I.’s duffel bags. In 32 ACP, it’s a sweet shooting, sexy looking package, slightly larger than the PPK/S. And no, mine’s not for sale.
I had the Interams .380 version for a brief while, then traded it off while I still had some blood in my body. It’s like shooting a handful of razorblades, or hanging onto a panicking kitten.
Of course, I do have an irrational love of pre-WWI pocket pistols in all the Browning designed ACP mouse calibers. An original PPK in .32 would absolutely be on the list.
OMG, get a REAL Walther PPK/S in .32acp ! Interarms gun or just a Walther PP in .32acp. SO smooth beautiful guns.
Ackchyually, the PPK/S is the importable version.
