And in my opinion, this is the key element of the bill
“(2) DEADLINE FOR SUPPLYING INFORMATION.—The transmission required by paragraph (1) shall be made—
“(A) in the case of a firearm acquired before the effective date of this section, within 3 months after the effective date of this section;
There is no way that half a billion firearms in the USA will be logged within 3 months. They know it and do not care because they will have installed Damocles’ swords over the head of 80 million gun owners that will be used to control them or augment punishment if needed.
You will basically have a felony dragging behind you till the day you die.
All of the sudden that fence around Congress makes sense, doesn’t it?

  1. See previous post. See Conn and ny two of the strictest and stupid on gun laws- less than 5% compliance.

    1. Oh, we’re going to have to go way past “not obeyed” on this one. They’re going to declare every last person who reads and posts on this blog to be a felon.

      You know that 200:1 advantage we keep saying we have over police and military? It’s time to use it.

      This also explains why the military base next to where I work has been running live-fire exercises for the past 2 weeks straight.

  2. In a situation like the NY and CT laws that everyone talks about, unenforced laws aren’t enforced until they suddenly are. It’s all about making you a slave to the state. Should you violate some minor law, like accidentally running a stop light, suddenly you have dozens of felonies thrown at you.
