Another one annoyed at the Media & Academy Who Cried Wolf.
That article reminds me of an anime called “From The New World,” which I stopped watching because it portrays a society which has been forced to stagnate itself in order to survive. One of those forms of stagnation is genetic engineering which puts an instinctive block into the human brain, forbidding any person from causing harm to another for any reason. Unfortunately, as shown in From The New World, that causes problems when people who don’t have that block come along.
As opposed to the glorious summary of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: “Little by little, advancing with every turn. That’s how a drill works.” My drill is the drill that creates the heavens.
