Oracle, HPE, Tesla… the list keeps growing, and those are just the biggest of big names in business.
And a friend who still lives in the area, is upset that the moves will lose a lot of tax revenue for the state and municipalities, that they rely on for many valuable social programs and services.
The thought that a lower tax rate might have helped keep the companies in-state, and that it’s not the companies’ mission to provide those funds, just doesn’t compute.
Just require 120 months of residency to become eligible to vote in Texas
