They don’t really need to make fake ones here in Missouri.
I see expired temp tags all over the place, and I mean expired as in 6 to 9 months.
Thing is … I could easily believe it’s a DMV bug, hard-coded to make the expiry of the temp tag “the end of the third month from the current month” or something like that.
Actually … that could become a strategy to look for fakes. Make the day be 31 if it’s a month that doesn’t have 31 days, or 30 if it’s a month that does. Then any temp tag done with correct end-of-the-month day is fake.
