Let’s count his fuck ups:
- Shooting anything packed with tannerite
- An AR in 7.62×39
- Using the magazine as a monopod
- Using the painted bedrail of the truck as a shooting platform
- Almost dropping the gun and accidentally discharging into the dirt in front of him
Yeah, I have no sympathy for this dipshit.
A true friend would take his guns away before he’s not the only person he hurts by being a dumbass.
You forgot one:
He’s unable to to hit a microwave (14″-18″) target from 100 yds (being generous?) with a modern rifle and red dot optic.
That’s the part of this that upset me the most.
Horrible safety, horrible form, horrible planning. But the shitty aim… that’s unforgivable
Agreed on all points, except for the bed rail — it’s got a plastic cover that’s integrated with the bed liner.
Sorry J, but I only agree with your first point.
Shooting anything more substantial than the thin plastic container the reactive target comes in is down right stupid.
Your other points are very questionable.
2. A x39 AR is a relatively better choice than one in .300 blowup. Due to the impossibility of a cartridge mix-up with a standard 5.56. One that accepts AK magazines is even better.
3. If your modern standard AR can’t monopod on the magazine, then either your magazine or rifle is defective.
4. Not my truck, not my problem.
5. Inconclusive. Evidence not in the record.
2. The 7.62×39 is a notorious jam machine trying to get the tapered cartridges to feed in the straight section of mag well. While having an incident with 300 BLK in a 223 does happen, that is a user error that is easy to avoid.
3. It’s not going to break the gun, and usually won’t cause it to jam, but it’s still bad form.
4. Paint, plastic, doesn’tmatter. It was a slick enough surface that his gun slipped off what he was resting it on and took a nose dive towards the ground.
5. He clearly shot the dirt when the gun slipped.
