MyPillow is auctioning off hundreds of pieces of equipment and subleasing some manufacturing spaces amid what founder and CEO Mike Lindell calls “a massive, massive cancellation.”

Lindell, in an interview with the Star Tribune, said MyPillow lost $100 million from “attacks by box stores, the shopping networks, the shopping channels, all of them did cancel culture on us.”

Several retailers, including Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kohl’s, pulled MyPillow products from their shelves after Lindell continued to claim the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President Trump.

I had seen on TV he was doing some massive discount offers and started to wonder why. OK, not really wondering but I think it was not only the Cancel Culture alone but his own mouth.

  1. Trump at best, has progressively wavering support, which I believe will get worse in the months ahead. Contrary to the legacy media’s constant claims that polling shows Trump way ahead of Desantis, in reality nothing could be further from the truth. Polling this far ahead of the election mean absolutely nothing. In fact, recent history has shown that advanced polling efforts by political parties, backfires in the end. This post is proof of that political phenomenon.

    1. Political parties don’t release the results of the polls they commission. That’s entirely a press thing.

      1. Thanks for the correction, you’re absolutely correct. I should have said, “polling efforts by politically leaning interests in favor of party candidates….”

  2. The whole Trump/Desantis thing has soured me on elections and politics….. the gawddam gop does nothing but fight amongst themselves and create “outrage “. You wait, all this bullshiite will generate a 3rd party run which with a 3way race with garunfukkintee the democrats will win another 4 years to fukover America…. Bah. Im tired of all of it. Gop “investigations “ will go on and on and on and guilt ridden democrats will go merrily on thier way scot free to enjoy the millions of dollars they got from the hated “ capitalist “ system they wrail against…

    1. Except they’re not guilt-ridden.
      .
Guilty as son, guilty as all get-out, guilty as a cat in the creamery, yes. But guilt-ridden, to me, implies at least some understanding that they did wrong, and a little remorse for the same.
      .
That doesn’t sound like any Democrat/Progressive politician I’ve ever heard of, and a good many Repub pols as well.

  3. There is no denying that MyPillow was harmed, significantly by cancel culture. I used to see them everywhere, Korger supermarkets, WalMar, Target, Amazon, etc… etc… etc.. Literally, this was a product you could not get away from. Then Lindell made the mistake of praising Trump, and just like that, his product disappeared from retail stores. That was about two years into Trump’s Presidency.
It is surprising that he was able to stay in business as long as he did.
    .
Today’s problems… they may not all be cancel culture. It may have started with that, but there is more to it.
