Chelsea Manning has not gotten the reception on the campaign train that he thought he’d get.

He’s been hearing a lot of excuses why people don’t want to vote.

Yes, there are people who feel this way.

I think that some of it is a lie.  I remember when fringe candidates, either the Libertarians or Socialists or whoever would try and get me to sign their petition, they wouldn’t take “no thank you” for an answer.  So I got in the habit of telling them “I’m a non voting felon” and then they’d leave me alone.  Pissed my wife off immensely when she saw me do it too.

I have a feeling a lot of this “it won’t make a difference” is people in his district trying to avoid saying “I’m not going to vote for you, you commie, tranny, traitor.”

Unhappy with his prospects of losing an election, he has decided to go the Hillary way.  Voting ins’t fair.  We need an alternative to democracy and/or a representative Republic so detestable people like himself (and Hillary) can force their way into positions of power.

So, Mr. Manning, what is your alternative?

If you won’t get to where you want by convincing the people to vote for you, how will you attain office?

That “change wont come thru any ballot” seems a lot like Mao’s (misquoted) “change must come through the barrel of a gun.”

I ask this because for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction

If you decide the Constitution must be done away with so you can seize power, I know many, many people would would respond by seizing you and making you dance the Danny Deever for it, and your previous crimes against this nation.

  1. Ms Manning should study the fate of gay/transsexual/etc. people under the socialist/communist/fascist paradises of the past. Hint, anyone that didn’t conform to the norm had a short and painful life. Just for the record this is still true in Putin’s Russia today.

  2. Hm. Sounds very much like Ms Clinton: if I’m not getting the supports/votes/belief I feel I’m due from the system, the problem must be with the system and not with me.
