The Tweet:
In 1942, when the Holocaust began, the Jewish population of Germany was around 200,000 (men, women, children). The size of the German Wehrmacht was over 8 million (not counting police). Don't pretend that a small number of Jews with firearms could have prevented the Holocaust. https://t.co/28ElFY0qun pic.twitter.com/kLQF2POp5J

My meme:
That closeup sure makes me think of Pizza the Hutt.
Looks like that ginormous, baby eating, dick head from the Mike Myers movie… and about as useless.
The man appears to be completely unfamiliar with the concept of guerrilla warfare.
Someone tell the Rabbi that it wasn’t the Wehrmacht rounding up the Jews in Germany.
Also the Wehrmacht in 1939 had around 4.5 million soldiers. They reached over 8 million only in 1942 – by then the Holocaust, the “Endlösung” was only starting but the German Jews were either already interned or had fled.
Perhaps he couldn’t. (Sorry, not sorry, for the ad hominem comment.)
Also, see most totalitarian regimes (e.g., China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela). You don’t need all of the guns–just enough to dissuade people who aren’t separate enough (see: Warsaw ghetto uprising).
