After the attack of Andy Ngo in Portland last Saturday and the lack of Law Enforcement action, I have noticed that there is a lot of resentment still permeating. It is like a low level grumble that it is only supposed to last a couple of days max, but in this instance it has not faded away four days later. In fact, it may have even gotten a bit stronger.
Don’t confuse it with the normal loud outrage. That is back to its regular levels. This is something that is deeper and more sinister: it is people reaching their limit.
One indication is the general agreement by many (me included) we are seeing the first moves in what shall we called Civil War 2. There is a political sector that firmly believes they can initiate an avalanche just because they have deluded themselves into believing they can control their direction or at least stay out of its path. That is going turn out to be a grave miscalculation with bloody consequences.
In the meantime, I am gonna fortune teller and give you a prediction: There will be a confrontation and there will be corpses after it is over. If the politicians think they will be able to come in and swoopingly pass new laws restricting liberties, they will find themselves paying or the gross miscalculation.
And by the way, I have bad news for reporters: The lack of censure for the attack against Andy Ngo has officially decide for many that you are no longer a protected species according to the First Amendment. Don’t be surprised that when the attacks come your way (probably again by the Left and Antifa) you will find no pity from the other side. You cannot claim journalistic integrity when you are a peddler for the political propaganda of the Left.
“The first real jolt indicating a serious problem with the plan came when television reporter Cathy Carlsen was killed in Norfolk, shot dead while covering the commissioning of the Harvey Milk, the Navy’s newest destroyer. That she was killed was bad enough. That it happened on a “secure” naval base—a federal installation—made it much worse. Her blood splattered across the Admirals’ white uniforms made quite a picture. The videos…”

And in something totally unrelated, now that you have your EBRs, it might be time to have a nice scoped bolt action rifle in .308 and above. Some good prices out there. Long distance shooting is the new cool thing, three miles and more is the New Black.
What I keep seeing is the intense cognitive dissonance from the ‘left’ regarding this. I keep seeing media pundits and left leaning associates on FB going on about ‘Trump’s war on the media’ and how he’s going to try to become a dictator blah blah blah when all the actual attacks (not just ‘don’t trust them comments) on media sources, including the police raid of that one in SF which disappeared real fast from the news, have (afaik) all come from Democrats/far left organizations.
[…] After my last post, a Facebook reader made the comment he is subscribed to his town/neighborhood Facebook page and has seen the local Left doing victory laps about Antifa. […]
I think it was the lack of condemnation.
The same people who pissed and moaned about how Trump saying “fake news” was a danger to the lives of millionaire journalists for CNN and MSNBC are the same people justifying the beating of Andy Ngo, calling him a white supremacist and an instigator.
They are also the same people who were absolutely 100% sure that Jussie Smollett was beaten by MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters, while denying that Andy was beaten at all and just got some milkshakes dumped on him.
The brazen partisan deceit of it all was the final straw. We keep being told that there are five lights and we’re sick of it.
” it might be time to have a nice scoped bolt action rifle in .308…”
Have had one in 30-06 since collage. Lousy vision limits me to about 300 yds, could stretch that to 400 yds if minute-of quisling is all that is needed.
