I know it does not make sense. I did not shoot it so I don’t know recoil, accuracy or any of the other important things. I only shouldered the darn weapon and it felt like I was slow-dancing with my bride of 27 years. This is the rifle I will buy and screw whatever else is there.

  1. Ooo, IMI.

I know the feeling you describe. Sometimes, you pick something up, you hold it, and it just feels *right.* It’s like wands in the Harry Potter series. There’s no adjustment, you hand knows the device, and it’s already a part of you. I felt the same thing the first time I handled a Chiappa Rhino, and now I’ve gotta get one.

  2. how i felt about the p229 dark elite .40 i held last weekend, I should have pulled the trigger…

    🙂

    1. I haven’t been as fanboyish as some guys have been about the Tavor, but I’m assuming .223.

Cause they seem to use AR15 mags in pictures. Could be .300 AAC but I don’t think there is enough .300 rounds out there to handle all the T&E’s that will be going on in a few days/weeks/months/years/decades

      1. It’s 5.56/.223. It uses standard AR-15 mags, and seems to handle every brand just fine at that.

  3. You should buy two. They’re small. Besides, remember what the experts say: Two is one, and one is none.

    1. Oh man, that applies to women, too!
Or… wait… that would be “two is none, and one is none.”

  4. The gun on that wall that whispers to me every time I walk by it is the LWRC REPR.
Glad you liked the place and I’m looking forward to seeing you often!!

  5. As an aside, I love the rack of gun behind Miguel is nothing but black composite guns and such with the exception of the one Marlin centerfire rifle.

Can’t wait for the review, and the resultant squeeing.

  6. I’ve only been able to take mine to the short 20yd range near me so far, but I’m loving it. The flip up sights work a lot better than I feared they would, and my Eotech works just fine with it.

But then I’ve been a huge IMI/IWI fan since I first got my Baby Eagle 6 years ago.
