Appreciate the effort….however he should have the good sense to use fake firearm props instead of the real thing. Heck a wooden block would have served the purpose just fine.

That said, he brings up a great point about the second officer. In the Castile Video, the second officer never moves up on the passenger side of the car far enough to visually verify the driver’s hand-status.
And if he had achieved a visual verification of the driver’s hands he would have drawn his weapon before the officer on the driver’s side did….because the driver had his sidearm within reach—either between legs or alongside the seat and or center console.

Again, the only reason Castile is dead today, is due to impaired mental capacity due to cannabis, where he fatally decided upon hearing the order, “Do NOT reach for it” to say, “Oh I don’t have to reach for it cause it’s right here” as he grabs the gun to demonstrate his point that he didn’t have to reach for it.

As this video clearly demonstrates correctly, “Reaction always loses the battle to Action”. Police are trained to Act and never to React–be proactive and never reactive.

Lesson Learned: NEVER use a mind-altering drug or substance when handling a firearm…NEVER. The ability to comprehend reality is completely impaired. In this case the driver Castile, was in a happy mood, believed the CC permit gave him freedom to handle the firearm within the confines of his car because…..he’s a law abiding good person after all, so see, here it is, I don’t have to reach for it—smiling the entire time in a state of “Stoned Innocents”.
