I was chided about being too negative in my criticism of the leftover & crumb gun bills passed this week in Florida. I was even dared if I would rather let the democrats erase all we have achieved. I have news for you: it has already started.

GENERAL BILL by Stewart ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Farmer

Gun Safety; Prohibiting the sale or transfer of an assault weapon or large capacity ammunition magazine; prohibiting possession of an assault weapon or large-capacity magazine; requiring certificates of possession for assault weapons or large capacity ammunition magazines lawfully possessed before a specified date; providing enhanced criminal penalties for certain offenses when committed with an assault weapon or large capacity magazine, etc.

In past years, the bill would have never even made it pass the initial filing, it is now in the IN basket of the Judiciary. Now, do I need to remind everybody about who do we have in the Judiciary that switched sides? The Democrat side will vote in block as it has been doing.

So what we have is an Assault Weapons Ban bill might passing the Judiciary committee via bipartisan vote. So unless  Senator Negron (R-MIA as in Missing In Action) does not block the bill and sends it to the garbage pail, the Press and the Gun Control groups will have a field day and project momentum to run through the rest of the committees and end up for a floor vote, possibly becoming law.

Do you feel safe? Because sure as shit I don’t.

That is why I am giving the whole Florida GOP in the legislature an “F” till we see good gun bills arriving to the Governor’s desk. And that is why I want people to contact  their Reps and Senators even if they are not in the appropriate committees: When you spread the pain equally among the group, they will either have to go after the cause or they must renounce their positions for somebody who will get stuff fixed.
