“I believe that any weapon that can be used to hunt individuals should be banned,” announced Charlottesville Police Chief RaShall M. Brackney in the hearing. Brackney and other witnesses showed just how far the Democratic Party has gone on gun control in only a few years.
Brackney was given a chance by Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL) to correct the record if she might have misspoken, but she only doubled down. Steube pointed out that any firearm could be used to hunt people down, and Brackney responded by repeating the point. She only clarified that police and the military would still be able to have guns.

Beto let the cat out of the bag, a cat we already knew existed for a long time. What we are just simply seeing is the feelings we have seen for a long time in Social Media finally expressed in the Big Media and the Congressional Record.
This position liberates them from trying to be specific on a type of weapon they consider evil because their unstated position (as of yet) is that all guns are evil. They will no longer be ridiculed and their statements seen as stupid just because they can’t tell semi automatic rifles from machine guns:

Simply, effective and a message easy to propagate. They hate Grandpa’s double barrel shotgun as much as your AR-15 with the high capacity semiautomatic magazine clip. And only Police and the Military, the groups they want to send in case you misbehave, will be armed in order to control you.
And the great unanswered question still remain unanswered: If Confiscation works, how come they do not start confiscating the guns from the criminal element such as the MS-13?

Two points: One, if confiscation works, why do we have over 60,000 deaths from opioid overdoses? Two, If any weapon that can be used for hunting individuals should be banned, do we need to stock up on crossbows, baseball bats and rocks?
