Sorry for the distraction. A child believes that being in charge somehow means you can fix things using the simplest answers. “Just house the homeless” or “Feed the hungry” sounds like common sense, but it ignores the reasons for homelessness/hunger and just treats the symptom. But, in his world, if he (or the people he agrees with) just run for office and fight for what is right, Utopia is right around the corner.
