Homeland Security chief says U.S. will not give refuge to those fleeing Cuba and Haiti by boat

People fleeing Cuba and Haiti by boat will not be allowed to enter the U.S., even if they demonstrate fear of being persecuted or tortured in their home countries, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned on Tuesday.

“Allow me to be clear: if you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States,” Mayorkas said, highlighting the dangers of traversing the Caribbean Sea and the Florida Straits by boat.

Mayorkas, a Cuban immigrant who fled the island with his family in 1960, issued his stern warning in the wake of seismic political events that have rocked Cuba and Haiti in recent days.

Mayorkas is a Democrat and as a Democrat his priority is to the Democrats and if that means allowing other Cubans to languish under Communism or suffer in other countries, making Cubans suffer under Communism to uphold the power of the party is the precedent of history.

Note how economic refugees from Central and South America are allowed to come across our southern border with little resistance.

It’s simple, Cuban refugees generally hate Communism and vote Republican.

Mexicans and Central Americans generally love government handouts and vote Democrat.

So, of course, our Refugee policy is designed not to help refugees but to boost partisan power in America.

  1. I think the Cubans of Florida should organize a flotilla to go out and meet the refugees at sea and bring them ashore.

Then charter a ship to send them to Mexico, south of Brownsville, where they will be allowed to walk across the border and greeted with open arms!

    Problem solved, Mayorkas thwarted.
