By now you must have heard of the Panama City School Board shooter. Thank God the guy was a really crappy shooter and other than himself, nobody got hurt.
But this is a piece of news I found interesting: Panama City gunman dead by the time 911 call ended.
By the time a 911 call to alert authorities about a gunman holding school board members hostage was completed, the incident was over and the perpetrator was dead.
It took roughly six minutes.
Add to that police response time and the killer would have had all the time in the world to massacre everybody if he was a somewhat competent shooter. A Security Officer was better and the shooter is now gone.
