Harris was brought down by her record as a hard authoritarian DA and AG who fought wrongful conviction and police misconduct cases tooth and nail while pushing for harsher sentences for things the woke want more lenient. Plus her campaign was so weak and her message so inconsistent even liberal media was critical.
