This is former Congressman and current AG of Minnesota, Keith Ellison.

I can’t speak to the experience of a woman after she’s been raped.

But I can speak to a husband and the father of a daughter and I want rapists arrested, prosecuted, and put behind bars.  Or resist arrest, get shot, and get put in the ground.  Either works for me.

The point is I want rapists off the street so they cannot harm other women.

That’s the point if calling to police.

A woman can and should get counseling.

Preventing other women from experiencing that trauma is important too.

Ellison seems to think that dealing with a rape should end at therapy for the victim.  The rapist should get a pass if he runs away.

It shouldn’t be surprising that a Progressive  feminism supporter and Muslim would want to take it easy on rapists.

What this does is prove to me just how much concealed carry is more important than ever.  If politicians are defunding the police and discouraging you from calling the cops after you’ve been raped, you’re going to have no choice but to stop the rapist yourself while its happening.

  1. Seems to me I recall him being accused of sexual assault but was ‘cleared’ by an ‘internal investigation’.

This is my shocked face. .

  2. Wow. Watch him “mansplain” to these ladies why a therapist is more needed than someone trained to use a gun.

That’s assuming by “trained to use a gun” he really means “vested with the legal authority to pursue and apprehend the criminal suspect”.

And I thought “Progressives” and “feminists” hated mansplaining! But here they are, not only tolerating it, but nodding along!

On another note, if the police are going to be told to not search for or try to apprehend suspects under the criminal justice social contract, it’s only a matter of time before a husband or father does it for them.

The police rules on use of force won’t apply.

Just because you tell the police to stand down and neglect their duty to uphold the law, doesn’t mean the law doesn’t need to be upheld. It just means someone else will take up that duty, and it stands to reason they won’t be bound by the same rules.

  3. Worthless SOB is Ellison…You should be here and hear his daily gibbering that the local media fawns over…POS!!

  4. Amazin aint it??? Course, most of the women who believe this drivel you wouldnt touch with a 10 foot pole(heh heh). I can see in areas where police have been nurtured people themselves taking over police matters
