Forget George Floyd and Jacob Blake, Kyle Rittenhouse is the true martyr of 2020.
The trial and tribulations of Mr Rittenhouse is actually creating converts and saving souls.
Last night, Neri and I watched several hours of .#Kylerittenhouse direct testimony and cross examination. We came away believing that #Kyle is telling the truth and that he acted in self defense. We found him to be a civic-minded patriot with a history of

Kyle Rittenhouse’s life is at risk. Justice demands a fair trial. Society would benefit greatly if politics did not enter the court room and convict innocent people.

Just got a call from the media asking if my Twitter account was hacked. That is, the reporter couldn’t conceive of the idea that I could believe that Kyle is innocent because I am not a right winger. Crazy.

Kyle Rittenhouse, I am sorry I unfairly judged you and thought you were a racist. Full disclosure: Watching parts of the trial were both humbling and horrifying. When this happened months ago, I was a sheep. I watched @cnn and bought they were selling.

I truly believed that Kyle was some racist kid that “drove across state lines” to a far away place, armed with an AR to fuk shit up for shits and googled at a “peaceful” BLM protest. I believed that he opened fire and killed innocent BLACK people

That were rightfully and peacefully protesting their right for equality. This week, I learned I was lied to about what really happened. A LOT. I am horrified and embarrassed by my ignorance and unwillingness to recognize propaganda.

The past several months have opened my eyes to a lot of things and for that I’m grateful. But I will own it. Kyle Rittenhouse, my deepest and sincerest apologies.

Like I said yesterday, there seem to be a number of left of center moderates who watched the trial and have come to the inescapable conclusion that the media and Democrat politicians are nothing but shit-peddling liars and everything they were told to think about Rittenhouse was wrong.
The second person makes a good point, it’s not jut the Rittenhouse trial.
It’s the media saying everything is fine and inflation is good even, while the people hearing this are bring squeezed so hard it hurts.
They are realizing that the elites and activists on the Left are incapable of putting the truth over the narrative.
And clearly the absolute disconnect between what the talking heads said and what they saw in the trial has been part of that awakening.
Kyle is suffering and I hope him nothing but the best, but his suffering has ripped the wool from the eyes of normies and for that sacrifice I thank him.
I don’t want him to be a martyr. As one wag put it, martyrdom is all well and good but it’s hard to put on an encore.
But redemption… that’s a hell of a weapon against the leftoids. A Road to Damascus moment might wreak all sorts of unholy hell among the left.
A really good next step would be for all those who comment on the fact they thought the “victims” [sic] were black when they actually weren’t, to realize the racism inherent in that notion.
I am so glad that the truth is coming out at his trial. He should be given a directed verdict of Not Guilty but the Judge might wish the Jury to pronounce him Not Guilty to show that it is not just his legal opinion but that of a Jury of his peers. The only thing Kyle R. did wrong was travel there and arm himself as a minor. Had he been at his home he would not be guilty of anything at all, even having a firearm with him.
Sure, Jim. Let’s all stay home and not do anything about nothing.
Tell us, Jim, what exactly was ‘wrong’ about taking action? When you say it was ‘wrong’ for Kyle to arm himself, is that your emotion talking or your xtensive knowledge of the law? Are you sure it was unlawful for a 17 yr old to possess a long rifle?
One or maybe two questions:
Do those people still have functioning twitter accounts?
And if so:
What, exactly, has changed?
How stupid and uninformed do you have to be to think the guys who got killed/wounded were black? Even if you never saw a photo, Joseph Rosenbaum, Gaige Grosskreutz, Anthony Huber? These sound like black names to you?
