I was over at the YouTube, trying to watch some stupid internet video, when the ad I got hit with was this:
Yes, that was an ad for a group that wants to legalize the word “vagina.” Color me shocked, because I wasn’t aware that word was banned. According to Slate, the FCC will allow you to say it on broadcast TV under most circumstances.
So what is this all about? According to the group’s Facebook page – because everybody has Facebook but me – something, something, we should be saying vagina more, because reasons. They claim they can’t say vagina even in medically appropriate situations, but this Osphena ad, shown on broadcast TV begs to differ.
But if these ladies want to talk about the word vagina for a minute, lets do so…
Dear liberal ladies, stop using the word vagina as a weapon. I am an adult. I have had my fair share of medical issues. I can speak with a medical professional about my condition without shame or discomfort. That is not what I am talking about. I am talking about the PsyOps campaign being waged by the Left.
It is true, discussions of an anatomical nature make conservatives somewhat uncomfortable. Call it prudishness, or call it decorum, but it is a somewhat accurate stereotype. It seems that the Left has decided to act like a bunch of children, and using this stereotype, to engage in outlandish behavior and try to make conservatives uncomfortable. If they can’t beat us with logic, they will try an make us squirm.
This is the whole point of Cocks Not Glocks, which I have covered before.
So lets go into examples of this bit of vaginal psychological warfare. There is Scary Mommy (a Left Wing parenting site) and HuffPo with Funny or Die telling ladies to “vote with your vagina.” Which is more dehumanizing than empowering when you think about it.
There was Melissa Harris Perry’s wearing of tampon earnings on MSNBC to show solidarity with the women of Texas regarding abortion Bill 5. The women protesting at the Statehouse had their hygiene products confiscated by security, which the media made a big deal about. But everybody glossed over the threat that was made that women would throw said hygiene products from the Statehouse balcony in protest. What displaying said hygiene products has to do with abortion access is not a connection I can make in my mind, but I have a feeling it was just another “lets make conservative men uncomfortable” tactic.
Speaking of hygiene products, there was the push in 2015 to end the “Tampon Tax” – which by the way doesn’t exist. Again, facts seem to fall by the wayside in favor of causing linguistic discomfort. In many states, feminine hygiene products are subject to the same sales tax as other goods. Some states tax food, others clothing, others even tax prescription and OTC medication (I lived in one). The argument that hygiene products, including feminine products, but also including bandages, soap, OTC medication, antiseptics, dental hygiene products, etc., should all be exempt from sales tax, is a legitimate one to take. But the Left had to go full Libtard on that one and focus on Tampons and pollute a good argument against taxation with identity politics.
You could have gotten tax hating conservatives on your side with that one, but you had to make it all about “taxing our periods*” and engage in protests that made us all uncomfortable. By the way, nobody is taxing your period. A consumer sales tax is not a direct tax on an act.
All of this tampon talk made both BuzzFeed and Time declare 2015 to be the “year of the period.”
Lastly, there is Code Pink’s intolerable running around in giant vagina costumes. Protesting everything GOP from the 2012 RNC to Trump rallies.
Heck, give a liberal woman any excuse and she’ll dress up like a giant vagina and head off to town. They will even make Halloween Costumes out of innuendo to suit political goals.
And I’m sorry, but I just do not see men talking about, running around dressed as, or proudly claiming to vote with their penises.
As much of a dickhead as Chris Matthews is, I’ve never seen him wear a condom for a hat.
Perhaps I’d be more sympathetic to your cause of Legalizing V. if I didn’t feel like Liberal women were constantly screaming “VAGINA” or something like it, as a rallying cry.
If you want to be adult about this, let’s be adult about this, and leave the vagina talk were it belongs. In your doctor’s office, not a polling station.
Well, just like the bunch of idiots who voted for the unqualified and radical biracial president because he was half-black and they thought that he thus deserved the position; we have women who will vote for the most corrupt candidate ever seen in American politics just because she has a vagina. My level of contempt for these undiscerning, racist or sexist Democrats is justified.
I’m waiting for them to trot out minority, transexual, midget, albino, zombie candidates and demand we vote for them because they fulfill many of their special check boxes. They will try to shame us to vote for them even if they are child-molesters and cannibals. Morality is not their virtue. Power and identity politics to get it are their bread and butter.

I believe technically it’s a claoca (a freakish union of genitals, urinary tract, and anus), but males of some lizard species have two penises, so I’m going to say that it counts at very minimum.
I’m not going to tell women not to vote with their vaginas, but taking your underwear off and climbing up onto the voting booth sounds awkward and I don’t know if the judge is going to be happy about running a ballot through the machine if it’s covered in snail trail.
One of the traits of the “liberal” left is to polarize an issue. Not polarize it by making it a right versus left, black versus white, or woman versus man issue.
No, they polarize it by exaggerating the issue until it reaches ridiculousness. When Trump says that the US should build a border wall, the left cries that he hates Hispanics. When Trump says Congress should have term limits, the left cries that he hates Congress.
And, this is just another example.
Tampons are taxed in some states. (Just like millions of other products people every day), but because it is a product that is strictly used by women for a very particular purpose, that means there is now a tax on periods.
And, it applies to anything that discriminates between women and men, black and white, short and tall, whatever. The liberals, because they are really just bullies at heart, will deliberately ignore the similarities, and distort the difference for their own purposes.
I will continue to point out that HRC’s alleged possession of a vagina (I am NOT about to ask for proof!) is neither a deal maker nor a deal breaker for me. She has far more important negatives on policy that matter far more than her anatomy.

All this, “Do something crazy to make the conservatives squirm?” reminds me of an old game people used to play.
Take turns yelling “PENIS!” as loud as you dare in public. The winner is whoever is willing/able to yell it loudest.
Before you ask, yes, this is a game that people in my town played. Usually, when they were 12 or so.
I guess some people just never grow up beyond that.
Also can these morons take a 100 level anatomy class, and learn that the word they’re looking for is “vulva” unless they are specifically talking about the inside bits.
