At the restaurant:

“Put the mask on now, hu? Muthafucker.  I case we beat the shit out of you.  Muthafucker.

To the guy in the white truck:

“We’ll burn your [house?] down too, we’ll burn it down too.”

Besides the violence going on all around these people, they are being directly threatened, on camera, by the mob.

The mob is getting away with it.

How could a rational person see this and not see how the people being cornered by the mob not have a legitimate fear for their lives?

The more the mob gets away with the more the mob is emboldened to the point where they are threatening to “beat the shit out of” people just enjoying outside dining.
