In several posts earlier this year, I documented how New York City Fuhrer Bill de Blasio sent the Waffen NYPD to single out the Jewish community for enforcement of social distancing and lockdowns.
Other people could sunbathe in Central Park but Jewish Children had to be locked out of playgrounds.
California had weathered the Coronavirus far better than New York City, a different climate, infrastructure, and strain of the virus combined favorable so that the entire state of California had fewer deaths than New York City alone.
What New York and California have in common is radical Leftists, and where you have radical Leftism, you have antisemitism.
Enter the Los Angeles Office of Public Health and their September 1, press release:
I went back through previous press releases and didn’t see similar warnings in late August for Muslims not to gather for the Islamic New Year (Hijri New Year) which was on August 20, 2020.
It seems like only the Jews are singled out for high holiday celebrations.
Thousands of people can gather together to riot, loot, and burn shit, but letting the Jews blow the Shofar in Synagogue on the Jewish New Year is a no-no.
Yeah, we all know that antisemitism is inherent in leftism, and that we can point to myriad examples in large leftist enclaves and in leftist organizations (e.g., BLM). How do we get our fellow Jews to recognize that leftism is antithetical to Judaism? I know Reform Judaism (is that an oxymoron?) is pretty much hopeless, but I attend a Conservative shul, and, as much as the overt anti-Israel bias in the msm made people uncomfortable a couple of summers ago, too many are still tied to the dhimmicrats, as though it’s part of their religion.
At least we have a conservative Jew as our congregation president, so concealed carry in shul isn’t an issue,,,
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Why do people blindly follow these “guidelines” ???
Gather EVERYONE and do your thing. The law comes along wave your “protest” signs. This whole covid bullshiite has gone WAY over board.
Yes. Resist, and invoke the 1st Amendment when arrested. Make them defend their actions in open court.
To be fair, the Gestapo cracked down hard on Christian Easter celebrations earlier in the year, too.
