I really hate having to defend Trump, but I find the lying and distortions by the media to be even more unpalatable.

It may be unprecedented for a presidential candidate to say that he won’t trust the results of an election if he loses.  This may be Trump being his typical over-the-top loudmouth self.

But I need to take his statement with a little dose of reality.

One of the things that Wikileaks has shown us was just how much the Hillary Clinton campaign, along with the DNC, cheated to knock Bernie Sanders out of the primary.

Now, all of a sudden I am supposed to believe that these same people who brazenly violated the will of Democrat primary voters will play the national presidential election totally, 100% clean?

They really do think we are that stupid.

It is infuriating.

  1. Well, since they essentially got away with cheating Bernie, after all he is now shilling for her, they see absolutely no reason to think that they will get away with it yet again. IOW, why wouldn’t they cheat, it has been working VERY well for them for at least the last 50+ years. And the ‘principled’ republicans will do nothing about it…………….

  2. I have friends who have never voted and have been completely apathetic towards politics their entire adult lives, and they are now all seriously concerned with this election and the fraud that will likely lead to Hillary’s coronation. They are all planning on voting for Trump, for whatever good it will do. I can only hope that if they have finally started paying attention that enough other people might be as well.

  3. If we survive this election, we have to demand and get Voter ID, no easily hacked electronic voting machines, and no same day registration or mail in ballots, and so on. Why in the Hell can we not do the purple thumb thing at least? It was good enough for the Iraqis, why not us?

    1. Braden,
While I generally agree with most of what you say, I have to take issue with the idea of removing the mailed in ballots. I travel a LOT for business, and am frequently not at home for elections. Not having absentee ballots would render me unable to vote, which I would not appreciate. Other than that, I really have no issues with your stance.

      1. I understand. My wife uses them. I worry they can be misused or ignored. I heard California does not even open them unless the vote is close!

I certainly do not want for you to be disenfranchised. I want each vote to be legal and to count.

My RADICAL notion would be to make voter fraud a capital crime. I tamed myself earlier to sound less crazy…
