Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

We get flocks of those ibises most of the year, patrolling the property and looking for choice (whatever they eat – bugs, worms?). Despite living around them for my life, I didn’t notice until someone pointed out to me that their legs turn red in mating season. I say this in case you’ve never noticed. It’s very obvious in the top two pictures.
Other times of the year, they’re brown.
Now I don’t remember if it’s only the males that happens to, as part of their mating displays.
UM Mascot. Legend has it that Ibis are the last birds to leave as a hurricane is approaching.
Nice pictures! I’ve never noticed the red legs before either.
