Consider that New York City and Los Angeles are having a severe rat problem.
The Plague isn’t spread human to human (unless one bites you). It’s spread by fleas on rats.
If this does come her it could hit NYC and LA hard.
I just hope that if it does, Trump comes out and endorses streptomycin, doxycycline, and ciprofloxacin. TDS will cause the governors of New York and California to ban those drugs and then the Plague will burn through them like it’s 14th Century Europe.
Not a big deal. Cases of Bubonic Plague show up occasionally in the American Southwest, particularly on the large Indian reservations, the culprits being prairie dogs.
