I would add “The Reverse Slippery Slope”: Asserting that A won’t lead to Z so therefore A should happen.
“Ok, you insist that Assault Weapons Bans won’t lead to a total ban on all firearms, fine- but tell me why it is a good idea to ban ‘assault weapons’.”
