I love the BS “science” behind the apparent selection of black targets and why is it wrong when the real reason is in the frigging first scene.
WE CAN SEE THE FRIGGING HOLES AND FIGURE OUT WHAT ARE WE DOING!
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Besides the contrast, black ink is cheaper than multicolor ink.
Why do they have no complaints about the common practice of painting steel targets white?
I’m gonna jump straight to the assumption that these people are stupid.
Stupidity being an act of the will; refusing to acquire or accept available information while continuing to act on their ignorance.
I have a bunch of life sized police targets from the 1960s that have a photo of a black dude holding a gun, made by “Realistic Target Systems.” Talk about “keepin’ it real.”
Old news. Years ago the Texas CHL qualification target was changed to blue for the same reason: to appease SJW’s.
That said, if they want me to shoot their art, go ahead and send it to me. I’ll blast away all day on it and then properly dispose of the waste afterwards (as I do will all my other paper targets).
Okay, a scientific question. Their second finding was that people were more “trigger happy” with a black target. Please define “trigger happy.”
I shoot a variety of calibers from .22 to 30-30, thick steel doesn’t do much with .22 and thin steal is destroyed with 30-30 so I color code. Orange is .22 only yellow is handgun calibers and below and green is anything. When I have friends over to shoot it is easy to tell them what is safe to shoot at. Never thought about black being bad but it is harder to see at a distance.
