After my last post, a Facebook reader made the comment he is subscribed to his town/neighborhood Facebook page and has seen the local Left doing victory laps about Antifa.
This is a good idea and one I am about to follow. Most Civil wars (and even riots as I learned the hard way) with/in your neighborhood. It is good tactics to stay informed who may act his fantasies and try to become the local commissar for the Glorious Revolution.
And keep extensive notes.
Already doing that. great idea.
Places to people watch in person or through their social media are pretty handy:
* Home Owners Association
* PTA boards
* City Council Meetings
* Neighborhood watch/Nextdoor/ community planning groups like for garage sales or festivals
* Citizen issue groups
It would be best to attend in person when your schedule reasonably allows and listen far more than you speak. Barring attendance their social media pages are a good secondary source.
Facebook is wonderful for what people will straight out say and Twitter is a good second although you can’t cast as wide of a net there both give you a good idea. This works both ways so be mindful. The deep dives into people’s posting timeline is not new but it is becoming more pervasive as people check others for ideology and association. What you’re doing they’re doing and probably doing it longer.
As stated take notes, keep them, and make your plans accordingly. Who said what and more importantly who did what. Who have you said or done things around.
