prank
/praNGk/
noun
noun: prank; plural noun: pranks
1.
a practical joke or mischievous act.
Swatting is not a prank. Sending armed men to a fabricated situation with the hope somebody gets shot is a murder attempt.
Layers and layers of editorial stupidity.
Grr…
Said it before… this Swatting b.s. is going to continue until it happens to some politikritter or 2. THEN, you might see some action taken to combat this crap.
Rather than seeing this as a warning, a bunch of Millennials are going to take this as a guide book and start ‘SWATTING’ with the new Red Flag law very soon.
After a fake “swatting” the very same SWAT team should visit the odious creature who falsely instigated it and kick in their door, toss in some flash bang grenades, shoot their dog, and cuff them.
That, or some politician getting it done to them will end this atrocity.
Considering that we’ve already had multiple murders resulting from ‘swatting,’ with only ONE of the perpetrators facing any consequences whatsoever, I’m not hesitant at all in betting that this shit will get much, much worse before there’s any chance of things getting better.
You’d think cops would be more upset at being used as cats-paws for a murder scheme, but they don’t seem to mind overly much (it’s almost as if police officers aren’t your friend, and sure as hell won’t be on ‘the right side’ when everything goes to hell).
