No fan of company goons or corrupt police using machine guns on ordinary workers. My grandfather was blacklisted by the coal company for union activity in the early 1900’s. That being said I am also no fan of Communists, hiding behind labor unions to destroy Capitalism.
But it was okay when the government used machine guns, cavalry and tanks against the Bonus Marchers…
Talk about suppression of free speech and all that.
But that’s a perfect example of ‘The Government can do anything.’
