Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Thanks again for this series.
Seems however much we would wish otherwise, human nature doesn’t change much. Society can and does, as per your comment, but humans themselves? Not so much.

In one sense, today the lynchers are usually satisfied with a figurative lynching, i.e. ruining reputations, careers, and marriages rather than stretching necks (as much as they want to). However, when the allegations are proved false, the lynchers refuse to express remorse, and continue with their attacks.
These days, since you don’t have to actually have to hold the rope yourself, it’s a lot easier to lynch an innocent man… All the effort it takes from you is a hashtag, a retweet, and clicking a like button.
