Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.
Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

“I just don’t like the robbery business.” <3
I enjoy some of the Hollywood western movies where the evil villain takes over a whole town until the lone hero challenges him and his minions, climaxing in an epic gun battle with good triumphant. As fiction it’s entertaining, but it has little in relation to reality. Western towns in the 1870s and 1880s were populated with a number of veterans that had “seen the elephant” in a war that killed more men than any other war in US history. The reality, when the bad guys were stupid enough to try to take over a town, was more like what happened to the Younger boys in Northfield Minn. or the Daltons in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Notice how the media had to slip in that one of the deaders was the brother of a physician, like that makes the deader that much better.
“He was a good boy, he was trying to turn his life around” isn’t a new thing, apparently.
