I am always grateful for the links and suggestions I am sent every day. I do want to apologize for not being able to use all. Sometimes is something I don’t do well writing about but J. Kb might so I forward to him (jkb AT gunfreezone DOT net if you want to send him material). Other times, the subject has been already covered by better writers, so don’t want to crap their style with my lousy musing.
And sometimes it is simply that I forgot.
Chalk it to a combination of too much input and a case of Chronic OldFartism amnesia. And speaking of that, I am giving the contributors a nickname I made up, but since we are talking about my memory, I kinda forget what was the name I assigned the last time, so I make a new one. I hope if the person sees I used his tip and sees attribution, he or she understands I am appreciative and welcoming their help.
Thank you for all your help. I truly appreciate your efforts to make this a better blog.
LOL, I took the title literally. The subject has an interesting history. Hat tipping and the predominant form of the military salute are both, through several intermediate stages, abbreviations of the ancestral gesture of bowing.
