  1. A rule of history: if your class, group, party, ect won’t keep arms, then you won’t be able to keep power.
    Because eventually, those with arms will wonder why they’re not directly in charge.
    Look at the rise of the Caesars, various aristocratic classes, Napoleon, or so many more examples.
