There is no oppression like collective punishment, and those who have collectively punished unarmed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

A rule of history: if your class, group, party, ect won’t keep arms, then you won’t be able to keep power.
Because eventually, those with arms will wonder why they’re not directly in charge.
Look at the rise of the Caesars, various aristocratic classes, Napoleon, or so many more examples.
“You will meet them doing various things with resolve but their interest rarely holds, because, after the other thing, ordinary life tastes as flat as the taste of wine after the taste buds have been burned off your tongue.”
Ernie did have a way with words didn’t he?
